What Is Faith in Action?
Many of us long to be better followers of Jesus — to live out our faith, to know Scripture better, to serve with love, and to grow closer to God. But too often, we're left wondering: What does being a disciple really look like? How do I even begin?
Faith in Action is a year-long, church-wide discipleship journey designed specifically by Wesley United Methodist Church. Rooted in the Wesleyan practices of personal holiness and social justice, Faith in Action helps you grow in your faith in a tangible, meaningful, and engaging way.
Each month, you'll receive a short list of spiritually enriching tasks to choose from — simple things you can do no matter your age, schedule, or ability. These tasks are based on Wesley's Works of Piety (prayer, Scripture, worship, reflection) and Works of Mercy (service, giving, evangelism, justice).
Here's How It Works
Receive Monthly Options
Each month, you'll get an email with that month's discipleship options to choose from.
Choose What Speaks to You
Pick the task(s) that speak to your heart — no matter your age, schedule, or ability.
Reflect & Report
At the end of the month, fill out a short reflection form letting us know what you completed.
Enter the Drawings
Monthly drawings and grand prizes reward participation, not perfection. You can join anytime!
You can join anytime — even if you didn't sign up at the beginning, you can join when you're ready and still be entered in the drawings.
